Has a Winner!! Ms. Mindy - who picked the scene where Diego photographs Finn on the rocks by the river.
We picked Mindy's answer as out winner for several reasons. One, the choice is one that does not show up in promo excerpts (she read the book!) Two, it was the sensual nature of the scene that caught her attention. And three, she tied it together with the book's overall theme of preservation of the natural world.

The Contest:
Finn’s Christmas, the holiday short story follow-up to Finn, releases 12/10/09. Naturally, Finn’s climbing the walls (such an excitable pooka) and demands we find a way to celebrate. While you could read the short story on its own, the experience will be more enjoyable if you’ve read Finn first.
If you haven’t picked up your copy yet, you can purchase Finn at;
Once you’ve got your hot little hands on Finn, (um, the book, that is):
- Read the story (you’re saying, “duh.” – you’d be surprised)
- Pick your favorite scene
- Write me a little blurb about which scene you picked and why
The most convincing, eloquent answer (go ahead, make me laugh and/or cry, I’m a pushover) wins!
